IBD and quality of life

This survey has now closed. We will be sharing the results in the next few weeks.

Want to help improve the conversations with healthcare professionals about the effect IBD has on quality of life?

IBDrelief has been working with a pharmaceutical company and medeConnect to help create a detailed survey which aims to build a picture of IBD and quality of life, including mental wellbeing.

The anonymous results of the survey will be used to:

  • Improve the conversations medical professionals have with patients about IBD and mental wellbeing

  • Inform educational resources for healthcare professionals and patients

  • Support patient-orientated goal setting between patients and healthcare professionals

  • Inform public IBD awareness campaigns

In the creation of the survey, we engaged a number of IBD advocates to review the questions and make amendments to ensure it is patient-centred and will deliver useful and valid results.

Anyone aged 18 and over in the UK who has been diagnosed with a form of inflammatory bowel disease can participate in the survey. It takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous.
