Telemedicine for Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Servicing Remote Communities

Learn about how telemedicine is being used to improve access to care for people living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in rural and remote communities.

The IBD Telemedicine program is part of Crohn's and Colitis Canada's Promoting Access and Care Through Centres of Excellence (PACE) network that brings together leading IBD centers to collectively advance best practices and elevate the standard of care for patients. The IBD Telemedicine program is led by Dr. Geoffrey Nguyen at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario.

Speaker: Peter Habashi is a Registered Nurse and research coordinator at Mount Sinai Hospital working with Dr. Geoffrey Nguyen on the PACE IBD Telemedicine Program.
