Canadian governments are considering or implementing health policy that will switch patients doing well on a biologic to a biosimilar for non-medical reasons. We spoke to Denise and Shayna Ford, a mother and daughter affected by Crohn's disease, about how they feel about this impending policy change and why they believe treatment decisions should be made by patients and their doctors - not the government.
