Dr. Dean Tripp | Gutsy Learning Series

Dr. Dean Tripp (C.Psych, PhD) is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at Queens University and cross appointed to Anesthesiology and Urology at Queen's. He was awarded a Crohn's and Colitis Canada research grant to study risk factors of pain and quality of life in people living with inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Tripp has published over 80 peer-reviewed publications & chapters, 5 treatment manuals, has developed 14 annual Pain Education events in Kingston, has presented his research in many national and international forums including TEDx events, and has consulted around the world on clinical research and patient engagement. He has been nationally and locally awarded for his excellence in teaching and research.

Crohn's and Colitis Canada

Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is the only national, volunteer-based charity focused on finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the lives of children and adults affected by these diseases.
