Thai style crab and prawn cakes

These crab and prawn cakes are easy and really quick to make. These are gluten free but if you aren't gluten free then you can use normal bread crumbs.


220g Crab meat
200g Prawns cooked and peeled
1 small Shallot
4cup Breadcrumbs gluten free
1tsp Fish sauce
2tbsp Coriander chopped
3tsp Lime Juice
2tbsp Olive Oil
Limes wedges (to serve)


  1. Mix all the ingredients together
  2. Shape into 12 ‐  15 cakes
  3. Heat the oil over a medium heat and from the each cake until they are golden brown on one side
  4. Turn over and cook the other side until it is also golden brown ‐ this will take about 2 minutes
  5. Serve immediately with a wedge of lime on the side
